DRESSLINK REVIEW!
Hello everyone,
I think you would agree with me when I say shopping is a lot more fun when it's affordable and done from home?
On one of these days that's exactly what I did and today I'm here to review for you my items from Dresslink. If you remember, last month I did a wishlist post, which you can have a look at here.
Before I give you my 100% honest opinion about the pieces I received, I wanted to inform you of some discounts. One that will be of great use to you is that you can find beautiful pieces that cost only $0.01 by clicking here. What a bargain, right? You can really indulge and fill up your shopping cart with new clothing for the Spring and Summer.
Also, adding free shipping into the mix, won't hurt a bit. It's one of the main things everyone dreams of when shopping online (I know I do), so head straight here.
These links are for you to benefit from and enjoy while they last!
Now is my chance to give you the insight of my purchase. The likes and dislikes that I hope will help you when buying from Dresslink. As I mentioned earlier, everything that I say will be from my own experience and my honest opinion about this site.
Let's Get Started!
1. Loose Solid A-Line Dress (LINK here)
I really liked this dress the minute I saw it because it's bright, fun and perfect for the summer. Also, during the warmer seasons, I really enjoy wearing pieces that are neon like hot pink, bright orange and this vivid lime green. These colors put me in the mood for summer fun and, in my opinion, they look amazing on a tan skin.
The back of a dress is just important as the front, so when I saw the simplicity and beauty of this one my mind was made up. When that happens, there's nothing or anything that can change that! hahahah
Plus, the chiffon light fabric feels like you aren't wearing anything, when you actually are. It's comfortable and it freely moves with the body. Just remember when ordering any type of clothing from Dresslink, be sure to measure yourself first, so you get the right size sent to your door. It's extra fun when you have a friend with you to measure you and laugh with.
As you can see I've cinched the waist with a tiny belt to give me shape and, to me, this way the dress looks a hundred times better. What do you think?
The downside I found when trying it on is that the undergarment, that's suppose to cover the parts of you body that aren't to be displayed in public, is a bit too short and see-through. That being said, I think I'll stick to wearing this dress when going to the pool or by the beach, as a cover up.
Overall I give this dress a four out of six!
2. Rose Gold Watch (LINK here)
What time is it?
Time to get rid of my old watches (spring cleaning) and replace them with this new one.
I mostly love this Dresslink watch because of how delicate and how beautiful it wraps around my wrist. When it comes to watches, a big plus for me is having one that looks more like a bracelet than a watch. I don't know why, but they immediately attract me a lot more than the bulky ones. Isn't it pretty? I think the white thin band and the rose gold around it are the perfect combination making this watch seem expensive when in turn it only cost $2.28. I highly recommend buying one because it's fashionable and of course it tells the time.
I give this watch a six out of six!
3. Lace Dress (LINK here)
When it comes to this dress, this is where big disappointment struck. I'm sure you can see why? Firstly, on the site it looked stunning, but when I saw it in real life it was far from that. The lace was very cheap, which is why it had holes everywhere - under the armpits, the neckline and all around. That's unfortunate because I was really excited for this particular dress. I loved the color and it fit great, but seeing in what condition it is, I'm never going to wear it. Strutting around town in a lace dress with holes all over isn't my cup of tea. That being said, I recommend you don't make the same mistake of purchasing this dress. Better to buy a more expensive lace dress that you know is of great quality and won't look like a garbage bag with horrible seam stitching and threads flying everywhere.
Sad to say, but I give this dress zero out of six! :(
Thank you so much for stopping by and being here!
Let me know which of these three items is your favorite?
Next week I'll continue the series for styling according to your body shape with the apples! If you missed the tips and tricks I gave for the pear-shaped body, here is your chance to catch up: CLICK HERE!
See you next time!
Love, Radi
